Neighborhood Block Party Visits

Lenexa Police Department officers are sometimes available to visit neighborhood block parties. These requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are attended by on-duty officers who may need to leave to respond to a call. Availability of attendance is also based on the patrol call load during the requested time. Completion of a request form does not guarantee an officer will appear at your event.

  • Requests will only be considered for neighborhood block parties. We are unable to attend private events, birthday parties, grand openings or sidewalk sales. Call 913.825.8081 to inquire about hiring an off-duty police officer for private event security.

  • This request form does not guarantee an officer’s attendance. All appearances are subject to the patrol shift’s call load, with calls for service taking priority.

  • Officers making an appearance are on-duty and working a patrol beat. While making an appearance, officers are still expected to remain available for dispatched calls.

  • This form is only to request a police officer appearance. You may still need to request a special event permit
