If you’re looking to enjoy the outdoors, we have several amenities you can enjoy. Most facilities are available for you to use on a first-come, first-served basis during regular park hours unless a city-sponsored program is scheduled. You can rent the roller hockey rink and the pickleball/tennis courts for a fee.

Sledding

To encourage you and your family to sled safely, our city-owned sled run is located east of Indian Trails Aquatic Center at Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park, 87^th Street Parkway and Greenway Lane.

Tennis/Pickleball courts

Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, unless they have been reserved.

Rental policy (separate policy below for Bois D’Arc Courts):

• Rentals for the current year can be made beginning the first business day in January and must be made in person at the Lenexa Rec Center, 17201 W. 87th St. Pkwy., 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. You will be asked to show a photo ID, sign a rental agreement, and pay applicable fees.


• Once address and contact information is verified, courts may be reserved online.


• Rentals must be made at least 24 hours in advance.


• Rentals are for small-group play. Private tournaments, leagues, and fundraising events, etc. are prohibited.

The resident rate applies to residents and businesses who pay Lenexa property taxes. If you would like to qualify for the resident rate, please bring a valid driver’s license or a photo ID and current utility bill in your name.
