What to expect this year at Lenexa Farmers Market

Spring is an exciting time of year. Temperatures warm, daylight hours increase, dormant plants send up new growth — and that means the Lenexa Farmers Market’s outdoor season is just around the corner. There is a lot to look forward to during the Market’s seventh year in operation.

We’ll welcome the return of many past vendors and the addition of new ones. We remain committed to selling only products that are grown, raised or made within 250 miles or throughout Kansas. (Not every area farmers market requires this.) You’ll find a great selection of products, including baked goods, beverages, dairy, fruits and vegetables, pantry staples, meat, plants and flowers, ready-to-eat foods, body care products and gifts.

Many of our vendors use pesticide-free practices when growing their produce. Some farmers have gone through the Certified Naturally Grown process. Its standards are based on the highest ideals of the organic movement.

Season schedule

Visit us once or twice a week on Lenexa’s bustling civic campus this season:

  • Saturdays: April 27–Oct. 26, 8 a.m. to noon
  • Tuesdays: May 28–Aug. 27, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Make a morning of it! You’ll enjoy the live music while shopping at the Market, but there’s lots more to do before or after that. Squeeze in a workout at the Lenexa Rec Center, pick up your holds from the Lenexa City Center Library, marvel over the latest exhibits in the City Hall Art Gallery, and grab a meal or hang out at the Lenexa Public Market or other City Center businesses.
