Lenexa Rec Center membership rates will increase slightly starting in late May. This will be the first price change in six years since the facility opened in 2017. 

We’ve worked hard to keep Rec Center membership affordable for the community while offering a wide range of amenities. The small monthly increase will help cover unavoidable rising operating costs. We remain committed to providing members a great value in a safe, clean, inviting facility.  

Monthly memberships

Memberships that are paid monthly will increase from $1 to $4 per month. See the chart below for current and new fees. New rates take effect during billing on May 20, 2023.

Annual memberships

Rec Center customer service staff will reach out to those with annual memberships to discuss when the price increase will take effect, as rolling renewal dates vary. See the chart below for current and new fees.
