Lenexa’s newly elected mayor and City Council members were sworn in at the Dec. 5, 2023, City Council meeting.

Each City Council ward is represented by two elected members. One seat in each ward is up for election every other year. Find your council ward

The Lenexa City Council holds meetings on the first and third Tuesday of each month in the Community Forum at Lenexa City Hall. The Council will also hold Committee of the Whole meetings or work sessions on the second or fourth Tuesday of each month. These meetings are for discussion purposes only — no action can be taken.
